Stourbridge Beer Festival 2009 -
The 12th Stourbridge Beer Festival takes place a little earlier than usual this year but again coincides nicely with a public holiday weekend allowing helpers and visitors to recover before returning to work.

We are looking for you to volunteer your assistance in helping to make the Festival another success!
Areas of work will be: Admissions and glasses, Bars and the Merchandise Stall
We also need help setting-up the festival on Mon, Tues and Wed, and take-down help on Sunday 3rd May.

Helpers will be rewarded with tokens for beer / drinks and food as well as the special treat of a trip to the delights of Bristol and its hostelries, on Saturday, 13th June.

The festival is held in Stourbridge Town Hall in Market Street, although the entrance is now within the Crown Centre at the corner of Market Street, High Street and Crown Lane. Click here for a map.

To speed up admission, we offer a £10 Starter Pack, which includes: Admission (Free, £1 or £2) + glass (£1) + and the remainder in beer tokens (£9, £8 or £7) = £10.
Unused or partly used beer tokens can be returned for a refund, or donated to charity. Admission on Saturday will be free once there are fewer than 20 beers remaining (or after 5pm, whichever comes first). Unwanted glasses may be returned if undamaged for a refund.
Unused beer tokens can be refunded or donated to Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge. Last year festival-goers donated £800.

The food bar, which is provided by an external company provides Rolls, hot snacks, soft drinks including cans and J2o, and red, white and rose wines in single serve 175ml measures.
